Video: Jim Belushi’s Blues Performance At 2012 Havana Cigar Festival

In 2012, Havana Cigar Festival commemorated 520 years of Cuban tobacco in the world.  American actor/singer Jim Belushi was among the 1,500 guests that attended the event.

During the 520th anniversary dinner, Jim Belushi, Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera (guitar) and Hollywood director James Orr (drums and director of our award-winning documentary Cigars: the Heart and Soul of Cuba) took the stage impromptu and delivered an energetic blues performance of “Let Me Love You Baby” along with fellow Cuban musicians.

In jam session, the always-entertaining actor played Harmonica, and Phil Manzanera gave an electrifying guitar solo that brought the crowds to their feet. The performance ended with the actor enthusiastically declaring, “the blues is alive in Cuba”.
