Tequila Review: Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia The Rolling Stones Tour Pick

Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia The Rolling Stones Tour Pick

I have never had such a refined tequila as this. It was first made for the Rolling Stones tour in 1972 and Jose Cuervo sponsored the event. It was re-released in Duty Free in Mexico City for the Rolling Stones’ Havana show in March. It shows hints of cream and toffee with some subtle wood. Green apple and melon undertones. Like long aged Cognac. It comes in a hand-blown blue bottle with a black wax seal and cork from Tlaquepaque in Mexico.
