Very different from La Zorra y el Cuervo, Jazz Café is located on the second floor of a glass covered funky building right off Malecón, next to the striking Hotel Melia Cohiba. Although the space looks more like a restaurant than a jazz club, don’t be deceived. Some of the most renowned performers of Latin jazz have sat at the Jazz Café stage. Its oval window gives a clear view of Malecón. On nights when the sea is rough, one can listen to the virtuosity of a conga solo while watching huge waves break against the Malecón.
